Allied health professionals can be an important part of your overall treatment, and work closely with our Doctors, Aboriginal Health Workers, and Nurses to make sure you receive the best possible wraparound care.

Galangoor employs and engages a number of Allied Health professionals, and conducts a series of Allied Health and Visiting Specialist Clinics each month that include access to:

• Podiatrist
• Physiotherapist
• Optometrist
• Audiologist
• Cardiologist
• ENT Specialist
• Paediatrician
• Occupational Therapist
• Speech Therapist
• Psychologist
• Counsellors

Please check with the Doctor and Health Worker to find out when the clinics are available.

Do I need a referral?

Yes you do. Before you can access any of our Allied Health Services or Visiting Specialist Clinics, you need to make an appointment for a Health Check at a Galangoor clinic and get a referral from your Galangoor Doctor. External referrals are not accepted.

To remove financial, travel and time barriers in accessing specialist services, we also provide Tele-health consultations – linking patients to specialists via video calls.
