Galangoor Duwalami Primary Healthcare Service is a community controlled health service and is accountable to its members and to the Fraser Coast’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Our three governance systems – CORPORATE, CLINICAL and COMMUNITY – guide the strategic growth of the service and enable community input, as well as ensuring legislative requirements are being met. By developing and maintaining robust governance systems, Galangoor Duwalami has been able to achieve Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) accreditation and Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, Queensland Rural Medicine Education (QRME) accreditation for our clinics on the Fraser Coast.
